Sutherlin Police jailed a man for a warrant on Friday night.

An SPD report said at 9:20 p.m. officers contacted the 29-year-old in the 800 block of East Central Avenue. It was found that he had a valid misdemeanor warrant for his arrest out of Douglas County Circuit Court. The man was taken into custody without incident.

Bail was set at $5,000. The man was released on Saturday.
