CHI Mercy Health Mercy Foundation has announced the film premiere for the Student Creator Project Public Service Announcements on Wednesday, March 11th:
A Mercy release said this unique project is a collaborative effort between the foundation, Spiderking Studios and Douglas Public Health Network. It has provided youth with free, hands-on filmmaking workshops over the past month. The resulting PSAs will be unveiled at Roseburg Cinema on Northwest Hughwood Drive.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the film premiere beginning at 6:00 p.m. Foundation Violence Prevention Program Manager Marion Pearson said, “I am so excited for the community to see students’ creations”. Pearson said, “This year with the project taking on a new creative approach has really been fun”.
CHI Mercy Health Mercy Foundation serves the needs of youth and families through a variety of prevention and wellness programs to increase health equity among Douglas County residents.
