DEPUTIES JAIL TRANSIENT FOR WARRANTS, CITE FOR METHAMPHETAMINE

Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a transient for warrants and cited him for a drug law violation on Tuesday afternoon.

A DCSO report said just after 12:40 p.m. deputies contacted the 36-year-old man in the 1400 block of Northeast Rocky Ridge Drive in Roseburg, due to trespassing complaint. He was found to have two DCSO warrants. A deputy reportedly located .99 grams of methamphetamine on the man’s person.

The man was taken into custody. Bail was set at $10,000. He was cited and released for the possession of the drugs.
