An Elkton man was jailed after being found inside a shop on Sunday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just after 12:00 p.m. deputies were advised that the 43-year-old man was at the property in the 800 block of Azalea Drive in Elkton. Units arrived and located the suspect who was hiding behind a vehicle.

The man was wanted by his probation officer. He was taken into custody and charged with first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal trespass, offensive littering and for a probation violation. The man was detained without bail.
