Roseburg Police jailed a man for two counts of third-degree theft on Tuesday.

An RPD report said shortly after 5:15 p.m. officers responded to a store in the 2700 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway after loss prevention staff said there was a man in their custody. Loss prevention informed officers that the 33-year-old had just stolen two bottles of alcohol. He had also allegedly been captured on security footage stealing two additional bottles of alcohol on February 19th.

The man admitted to both thefts, was taken into custody without incident, and was transported to corrections. Bail was set at $1,250.
