Roseburg Police cited a woman for a criminal count of prohibited camping early Friday morning.

An RPD report said just after 1:30 a.m. officers contacted the 49-year-old at the intersection of Southeast Jackson Street and Southeast Cass Avenue regarding the status of her camp. The woman reportedly had several items strew about on the sidewalk, which included pieces of camping material. Her camp was within a restricted area as well.

The woman was released after her citation was issued. She was also issued her first warning for city exclusion.
