Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant on Thursday morning.

An RPD report said at 10:00 a.m. officers observed the 45-year-old walking in the 500 block of Southeast Stephens, and believed he had a warrant for his arrest. Officers contacted the man and placed him into custody.

While detaining the suspect, the man stated that he had some methamphetamine and a pipe in his possession. During a search, officers located a meth pipe and about .86 grams of methamphetamine. He was charged with the warrant and was cited for unlawful possession of meth. The man was detained without bail.
