Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged past theft and for a warrant on Thursday.

An RPD report said the 23-year-old had been identified as a suspect in a January 15th case where he allegedly stole items from a store. At 9:40 a.m. officers contacted the man near the intersection of Northeast Odell Avenue and Northeast Caspar Street, and he admitted to the theft. He was also found to have a warrant from Douglas County Community Corrections. The man was charged with third-degree theft and for the warrant. Bail was set at $1,250.
