A Freezing Fog Advisory is in effect until 9:00 a.m. Friday morning for much of southern Oregon.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said visibility as low as one quarter mile in freezing fog is forecast.
The Advisory area includes the Umpqua Basin, Illinois Valley, lower Rogue Valley and portions of the Applegate Valley. This includes portions of Interstate Five and Highway 199 and the communities of Roseburg, Grants Pass, Sutherlin, Cave Junction, Applegate, Ruch and Rogue River.
Forecasters said low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous. Freezing fog could result in slippery driving conditions.
