Douglas County 4-H and the Douglas County Farmer’s Co-Op are partnering to host a Horse Care & Sports Medicine Seminar this spring.
An OSU Extension Service release said youth and families will learn essential skills and knowledge to keep their horses healthy, sound, and ready for project success.
The Strengthen Your Horsemanship Skills event will focus on equine health, management, and sports medicine, designed to support both new and experienced horse project members.
It will be held at the Douglas County Extension Office on Southeast Douglas Avenue on Monday, March 2nd at 6:00 p.m. The event is free, but registration is required. For more information, contact the OSU Extension Service at 672-4461.
