ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL WOMAN FOLLOWING ALLEGED HARASSMENT INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a woman following an alleged harassment incident on Thursday night.

An RPD report said that shortly after 10:30 p.m. officers responded to the 700 block of Southeast Rose Street after a caller said that there was a disturbance. The investigation revealed that the 47-year-old had allegedly spit on a victim. When being taken into custody, the suspect reportedly attempted to resist. She was detained without injury.

The woman, identified as Jennier Butts, was charged with harassment, resisting arrest and second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $11,250.
