Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported harassment incident on Tuesday afternoon.

An RPD report said at approximately 3:15 p.m. the 47-year-old allegedly punched an Umpqua Public Transportation District driver in the face, as he was leaving the bus near the intersection of Southeast Rose Street and Southeast Washington Avenue. The driver exited the bus and held the suspect on the ground until law enforcement arrived.

The passenger was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and harassment. Bail was set at $5,000.
