Wet road conditions on Sunday afternoon led to a single vehicle crash on the freeway.
An Oregon State Police report said at 4:10 p.m. a trooper responded to the wreck on Interstate Five northbound near the Anlauf, Lorane exit. The operator of a sedan lost control of his vehicle. The sedan left its lane of travel, exited onto the right shoulder of the freeway, and came to an uncontrolled stop after striking a dirt embankment.
The vehicle sustained heavy damage, with airbag deployment. The driver was cited for failure to drive within a lane. The sedan was recovered by a towing company.
