Roseburg Police jailed a man on the charges of second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft of services after he was contacted at a church on Saturday evening.

An RPD report said just after 6:30 p.m. officers responded to Covenant Life Fellowship in the 1400 block of Northeast Vine Street after a caller claimed the man was trespassing with his trailer and using the church’s electricity to power it. Officers observed multiple “no trespassing” signs located near the entrances to the property.

The man was taken into custody without incident. He was detained without bail.
