Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged trespass incident on Saturday morning.

An RPD report said at 8:30 a.m. officers contacted the 36-year-old on the property of the Roseburg Regional Airport in the 2100 block of Northwest Aviation Drive. The suspect was allegedly wandering around the south end of the property behind the secured fence, which was posted for no trespassing.

The man initially told officers he had jumped the fence, then said he followed a vehicle through the gate. The man was taken into custody without incident and charged with second-degree criminal trespass. Bail was set at $1,250.
