ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR REPORTED DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Roseburg Police jailed a man for reported disorderly conduct on Thursday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 5:30 p.m. officers responded to a business in the 700 block of West Harvard Avenue after several callers said there was a man trying to fight several people in the parking lot. Officers learned that the 52-year-old had allegedly tried to start several fights and had thrown several punches at another male.

The man was taken into custody without incident. His parole officer authorized a detainer for the new crime. The man was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and a parole violation. Bail was set at $2,500.
