Sutherlin Police jailed a woman for an alleged disorderly conduct incident early Sunday.
An SPD report said at 12:45 a.m. officers contacted the 40-year-old at a business in the 100 block of Myrtle Street. The suspect was allegedly causing alarm, making unreasonable noise and engaging in tumultuous behavior, banging on the business and telling the employee that she was going to have a long night.
The report said this caused other customers to offer to stay with the clerk until the woman was gone, for the clerk’s safety. The woman was eventually arrested and taken into custody. She was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and detained on $2,500 bail.
