Roseburg Police Jailed a Man for warrants and prohibited camping on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 10:45 a.m. officers contacted the 34-year-old at his camp along the bike path in the 500 blocks of Northeast Stephens Street. His camp consisted of a small tarp covering several personal items surrounded by various tents.

During the contact, officers discovered the man had two warrants for his arrest. The warrants were confirmed and he was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to corrections and was detained without bail. The man was released later in the day.
