Roseburg Police cited a man for offensive littering early Friday.

An RPD report said just before 1:30 a.m. the 59-year-old was contacted while sleeping on the ground floor of the parking garage in the 500 block of Southeast Rose Street. The man had several items of trash strewn about the ground. The report said the area resembled a small landfill.

The man was released after the citations were issued.
