Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant after an incident at The Point on Tuesday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 3:10 p.m. officers responded to Deer Creek Park in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street. Officers located an airsoft pistol at a dumpster and later located the 27-year-old suspect in a nearby tent. Everyone at The Point told officers they did not see anything and did not know why the police were there.

Dispatch advised that the man had a failure to appear warrant out of Lane County. It was confirmed a short time later. The suspect was detained $44,444 bail. He was released later in the day.
