Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited camping-violation on Monday.

An RPD report said at 11:40 a.m. the 66-year-old was contacted at a camp in Templin Beach Park in the 100 block of Southeast Templin Avenue. The camp was set up in a gulley between Southeast Arizona Street and the South Umpqua River. Camping is never allowed anywhere in that park.

The man was released after the citation was issued.
