A Cold Weather Advisory will remain in effect until 11:00 a.m. Saturday for central Douglas County.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said very cold temperatures as low as 20 degrees are expected within the valleys of Douglas County.

Forecasters said prolonged exposure to very cold temperatures can lead to frostbite and hyperthermia. Residents should use caution while outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
