No one was injured when a log truck slid off the roadway and became stuck in the snow on Wednesday morning.
An Oregon State Police report said just after 6:30 a.m. the accident took place on Highway 138E near milepost 66 in the Idleyld Park area. The man said another vehicle slid into his lane due to icy conditions, and he had to swerve to miss it and then lost control. The 39-year-old driver was uninjured and arranged for his own tow truck. There was no state damage from the crash.
