Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation on Tuesday.

An RPD report said just after 8:40 a.m. officers contacted the 45-year-old in the 2400 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway, believing that he was wanted by his parole officer. The PO was contacted and authorized a detainer. The suspect was taken into custody. He was detained without bail and was released later in the day.
