Sutherlin Police jailed a man following an alleged disturbance late Wednesday night.

An SPD report said at about 10:10 p.m. officers responded after a disturbance was called in, in the 800 block of South Comstock Road. During the investigation, it was found that a 34-year-old had committed the crime of assault in the fourth degree.

He was taken into custody and transported to corrections. The man was detained on $2,500 bail.
