A driver fell asleep, leading to a single-vehicle freeway crash early Thursday morning.

An Oregon State Police report said at approximately 1:55 a.m. troopers responded to the wreck on Interstate Five southbound near the Myrtle Creek exit. The sedan left the road and struck a highway sign, coming to rest on its side in the ditch. The driver, a Myrtle Creek man, was not injured. He was given a warning for failure to drive within a lane. A towing company recovered the vehicle.
