A transient was jailed for a parole violation warrant on Monday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said shortly after 7:00 a.m. a deputy saw the 49-year-old woman walk into a business in the 2800 block of Northeast Stephens Street and knew she was wanted.

The suspect saw the deputy drive up and ran through an “employees only” section of the store. She exited out of the back of the building and ran outside. The deputy caught up with the woman, ordered her to stop and she complied. She was transported to corrections without incident. The woman was also trespassed from the store. She was detained without bail.
