ONE PERSON TAKEN TO HOSPITAL FOLLOWING TWO-VEHCLE CRASH ON SUNDAY

One person was taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Sunday afternoon.

A Roseburg Police report said just before 3:40 p.m. a 27-year-old man was driving westbound on Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard while a second vehicle was headed northbound on Northeast Winchester Street. Based on witness statements, officers determined that the first driver had ran a red light causing his sedan to hit a large SUV

The driver who caused the wreck was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for a complaint of head and left arm pain. He was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
