Sutherlin Police jailed a man for a New Year’s Day DUII incident on Thursday.

An SPD report said at approximately 6:10 p.m. officers stopped the 30-year-old in the 200 block of West Central Avenue for traffic violations and noticed signs of impairment. He was taken into custody and was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants. The man was detained without bail and was released on Friday morning.
