One driver was taken to the hospital after a sports car sideswiped a horse trailer on Tuesday afternoon.

An Oregon State Police report said at approximately 5:45 p.m. a trooper responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 42 near milepost 69 in the Winston area. A pickup pulling a horse trailer was stationary in an eastbound lane with its hazard lights on when the Porsche sideswiped it.

The driver of the sports car was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for non-life- threatening injuries. A towing company recovered both vehicles.
