Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported prior theft incident early Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said just after 3:30 a.m. the 27-year-old was contacted regarding a theft report made on December 1st. The suspected admitted to stealing wooden pallets from an agency in the 1700 block of Northeast Airport Road. He was arrested without issue and transported to corrections.

The man was charged with second-degree theft. He was detained without bail and was released later in the morning.
