Troopers with Oregon State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 38, approximately three miles west of Scottsburg on Monday afternoon.

An OSP report said just before 3:30 p.m. an eastbound vehicle attempted to pass multiple vehicles that were also heading eastbound. The driver did not see a vehicle that was turning left from the eastbound lane into a residence. The first vehicle attempted to stop but ultimately collided with the rear-end of the second vehicle.

Both vehicles received a reportable amount of damage. The driver who caused the wreck was cited for unsafe passing.
