A fifth wheel was damaged in a fire on Friday night in the Drain area.

A report from North Douglas County Fire and EMS said the fire was reported just before 11:30 p.m. in the 7500 block of Laurel Hill Drive. The front end of the vehicle received heavy fire damage, while the belongings in the back half of the trailer were salvaged. The cause of the fire appeared to be overloaded and damaged extension cords.

No further information was released by North Douglas County Fire and EMS.
