Roseburg Police jailed a man for failure to register as a sex offender early Thursday morning.

An RPD report said at 12:30 a.m. officers contacted the 54-year-old from Glide in the 1000 block of Southeast Douglas Avenue, after he told his probation officer that he moved from his residence over a month prior to the contact. The man had not updated Oregon State Police regarding his address change and was taken to corrections. He was detained without bail.
