A Wind Advisory remains in effect from 7:00 a.m. Thursday through 4:00 a.m. Friday.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said southwest winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour are expected with gusts up to 50 miles per hour.

The Advisory area includes central Douglas County and its eastern foothills along with Josephine County and eastern Curry County. Forecasters told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the highest winds will be at higher elevations and are most likely to impact locations such as Azalea, Camas Valley, Scottsburg and Yoncalla.

In the Roseburg area, wind gusts are expected to top out at around 25 miles per hour.

Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects, and a few power outages may result.
