A Riddle man was hurt in a vehicle accident Monday night in the Myrtle Creek area.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, a 21-year-old man was injured while riding in a car that crashed through a fence around 9:45 p.m. in the 300 block of Yokum Road. The vehicle reportedly went off the roadway and destroyed approximately 30 yards of fencing.
Deputies reported that the injured male was a passenger in the vehicle and he was transported to Mercy Medical Center for a laceration on his head. The 28-year-old man driving the vehicle was not injured in the crash.
