Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged harassment incident on Thursday morning.

An RPD report said at 10:10 a.m. officers responded to a dispute between the 33-year-old and a victim in the 1100 block of Southeast Main Street. The suspect had reportedly slapped and kicked the victim while he was intoxicated. Officers learned his parole stipulations included no alcohol and no contact with the victim.

The man was charged with harassment and parole violation. He was detained on $2,500 bail.
