Two arrests were made during the execution of a search warrant by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday.

A DCSO release said on Tuesday, deputies learned of a domestic disturbance which had reportedly occurred between a 38-year-old Glendale woman and 52-year-old Corey Lange in the 100 block of Section Creek Road in Glendale.

Deputies learned that Lange, also of Glendale, was in possession of a rifle during the disturbance and is legally prohibited from possessing a firearm. Deputies applied for a search warrant for the residence and Lange’s arrest. The warrant was granted.

In the early morning hours on Wednesday, members of the DCSO Tactical Response Team executed the search warrant. Lange was not located.

During the search, deputies located 27-year-old Promise Phelps of Wolf Creek, and a 44-year-old man from Glendale. Both had outstanding warrants for their arrest. Phelps was also arrested for first-degree burglary. 45 counts of first-degree theft, and other charges related to a previous case. She was held on $31,250 bail. The man was detained without bail.

Anyone with information about Lange’s whereabouts is asked to contact DCSO at 440-4471.
