Roseburg Police jailed a man following a reported trespass incident on Wednesday evening.

An RPD report said at 7:00 p.m. the 40-year-old was contacted in the parking lot of a business in the 800 block of Southeast Stephens Street regarding an ongoing investigation. The night prior, the suspect allegedly jumped the fence at the car lot and used their electricity to charge his vehicle. The owner wished to pursue charges.

The man was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft of services. He was detained on $1,000 bail.
