A Winchester man was jailed for a restraining order violation on Friday afternoon.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 2:10 p.m. the 31-year-old reportedly went on property on Page Road and attempted to enter a residence. The man has active restraining order prohibiting him from being on that property. The incident was captured on a ring camera.

A deputy spoke with the protected person who said that the suspect was staying at a different address on the same road. The deputy contacted the suspect there and took him into custody. Bail was set at $5,000.
