Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported trespass incident on Thursday night.

An RPD report said at 11:30 p.m. officers responded to a home in the 1200 block of Northwest Ellan Street after a victim said a man had walked into his residence without permission.

The victim did not know who the suspect was, nor had been the man been invited in. The suspect, a 52-year-old man was found a short distance away and was detained. The suspect’s parole officer wanted him detained for committing the new crime.

The man was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and a probation violation. Bail was set at $6,250.
