Roseburg Police jailed a woman for littering in or near waters, and a criminal count of prohibited camping on Wednesday morning.

An RPD report said at 6:50 a.m. officers contacted the 42-year-old because she was camping at Deer Creek Park in the 500 block of Northeast Stephens Street. There was a substantial amount of trash spread around her. She was taken into custody and transported to corrections.

Bail was set at $2,500. The woman was released later in the day.
