Roseburg Police cited a woman for having a nuisance dog on Wednesday night.

An RPD report said at 6:00 p.m. the 40-year-old was contacted at Eastwood Park in the 2600 block of Northeast Douglas Avenue, while she was in her van. The woman’s dog allegedly jumped out of the van and charged officers, trying to bite them. A taser was deployed on the dog and the woman was able to get the animal back into the van.

The woman was released after her citation was issued.
