ROSEBURG POLICE CITE CALIFORNIA MAN FOLLOWING NON-INJURY CRASH

Roseburg Police cited a California man, following a non-injury crash on Monday morning.

An RPD report said at 8:10 a.m. officers responded to the wreck at the intersection of Southeast Stephens Street and Southeast Douglas Avenue. An investigation revealed that a 49-year-old driver had attempted to make a right hand turn onto Douglas Avenue from Stephens Street out of the left northbound lane of travel on Stephens Street, directly in front of a second vehicle, which was in the right northbound lane of travel.

The man who caused the accident with cited for improper right turn and driving uninsured. He was cited and released on scene.

The second vehicle was not drive-able and had to be towed from the scene, while the first vehicle was able to be driven away.
