The YMCA of Douglas County is observing Giving Tuesday by celebrating the 175th anniversary of the organization and the 75th anniversary of the local Y.

On Tuesday only a donation of $175, or any amount, to support their year-end goal of $100,000 to help fund youth programs and financial assistance, will be matched. That’s thanks to $2,500 from Columbia Bank and $10,000 from an anonymous donor.

A Giving Table is in the YMCA lobby Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to accept donations. Prizes will be given away as well. Online donations can be made at: www.ymcaofdouglascounty.org/give
