The Winston City Council and the Urban Renewal Agency will have meetings on Monday night at 7:00 p.m.

Councilors will consider approving new business licenses for three businesses in the community. They will vote on a resolution declaring a Kubota Tractor to be surplus and directing that it be sold at auction. Councilors will also decide on authorizing the city manager to purchase variable frequency drives to control the speed of the pumping station system for the Winston-Green Wastewater Treatment Facility, sharing 50 percent of the cost with the Green Area Water and Sanitary Authority, for an amount not to exceed $77,472 or $38,736 each.

Other items are on the agenda as well. The meeting will be held in the city council chambers on Northwest Douglas Avenue.
