The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a 42-year-old man for violation of a release agreement on Wednesday night.

A DCSO report said at 10:30 p.m. the suspect was contacted in the 17000 block of Highway 42 in the Camas Valley area, knowing that he was in violation of a no-contact order. The protected person was at the location as well.

The man was taken into custody. He was detained without bail.
