SUTHERLIN POLICE JAIL MAN FOR REPORTED DISORDERLY CONDUCT ON MONDAY NIGHT

Sutherlin Police jailed a man for a reported disorderly conduct incident on Monday evening.

An SPD report said at 9:35 p.m. an employee of a business in the 800 block of West Central Avenue said that a male was throwing things onto the road, kicking at garbage cans, and standing in the roadway. Officers arrived on the scene and noticed multiple items thrown all over the sidewalk and in the road. The officer saw a 58-year-old man sitting nearby. The witness confirmed that the man was responsible for the mess.

The suspect was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $2,500.
