Roseburg Police cited a woman for drinking in public Monday night.

An RPD report said at approximately 11:40 p.m. officer contacted the 34-year-old after she was observed sitting next to an open can of high alcohol beer near Eagles Park in the 700 block of Southeast Jackson Street.

The woman was released after her citation was issued.
