Roseburg Police jailed a woman for a reported trespass incident and drug charge on Sunday night.
An RPD said at 7:50 p.m. officers responded to the parking garage in the 500 block of Southeast Rose Street after a caller said a transient was camping on the second floor. Officers contacted 46-year-old Lisa Timmons inside a tent, which was surrounded by a large amount of trash. The trash covered an area of about 10 feet by 20 feet. Timmons encampment was also set up directly in front of a “No Trespassing” sign inside the parking garage.
Timmons was taken into custody without incident and transported to corrections. While there, jail staff reportedly located a white pill bottle on Timmon’s person, which contained 2.17 grams of methamphetamine. She was charged with second-degree criminal trespass, offensive littering, and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. She was detained without bail and was released on Monday morning. Timmons was also cited for prohibited camping.
